PRESS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPARTMENT
The Press and Public Relations Department is in charge of passing on the vivid thinking
of the Electricity Union both to the affiliates and the community as a whole.
That Union thinking of clear national, humanistic and Christian affiliation is
expressed through posters, open letters, press releases, leaflets and mainly through
the edition of "CONTACTO" magazine. Since its creation in October 1964, FATLYF press
organ is an incorruptible means of stating our position in defense of our sovereignty
and the social and labor rights of the organized workers. The Social and Union Training
Institute "Adalberto Wimer", which performs an intensive schedule of courses and seminars
all around the country, also reports to this Department. Finally, the Department is
also responsible for optimizing public and institutional relations with local and
foreign mate unions, national and provincial authorities, embassies, the press and
public benefit entities.
